About

Chloe Finch is a videographer and conservationist, from Paris, France and Victoria, Canada.

After studying Anthropology, Post Colonial studies and International Development at the Sorbonne in Paris in the hopes of working on projects that would help the planet, she realized that one of the most impactful ways of making a difference today was through visual storytelling.
She understood that media and film are among the best ways to leave a trace in people’s collective memories, and feels strongly that they can be effective in helping shift the ideologies around our current systems. Visual media offers new ways of seeing the world and the people who inhabit it, acting as powerful tools for change.

She recently worked as a producer and assistant director on the BAFTA winning documentary “When the Floods Come”, and looks forward to working on more films that highlight the urgency of the climate situation while offering inspiring solutions for a livable future.
She is currently living in Paris, working on an exciting new film project, while continuing her freelance work as a an environmental consultant and production assistant for WildReach Productions, a wildlife documentary company .

Mission
Our planet is at a crossroads: every collective decision we take today will determine the outcome of humanity.
A bright, inspiring, future, or one of destruction.
Using film as a tool for advocacy and action is how I aim to participate in shaping a positive future for humanity and the earth which houses us.
I aspire to highlighting the unheard voices of the climate crisis, and use visual storytelling as a means for empowering women & indigenous communities.
